WHY DO THE YOGIS STICK TO THE SIDDHAASANA WHILE DOING THE PRAANNAAYAAMAS?

Image
While all the standard Yoga-Aasanaasa or the physical postures such as the Sukhaasana, Bhdraasana, Vjraasanaa, and Padmaasana, etcetera are beneficial for the heart, mind and the shareera (body), the standard Yoga-texts such as the Hatthyoga Prdipika, Shiv Samhita, Gheranda Samhita or the Patanjali’s Yogsutras and the experienced Yoga Masters advise the yoga-practitioners to prefer and practise the Siddhaasana. However, the Yoga Masters and yoga-practitioners have known for long the pitfalls of the sexual relationship with multiple sex-partners and as such have avoided it scrupulously.
Although the Bible doesn’t forbid fulfilling one’s own carnal desires yet it asks it’s faithful to stick to the concept of only one sex-partner in terms of the marriage. Most spiritual approaches in the world…

Isn’t it really surprising that the yoga-practitioners tend to eat more and that too the solid and spicy food instead of drinking lemon water more during the severe bouts of the cold or the influenza, contrary to the prevalent common medical wisdom amongst the patients and the practitioners of the Allopathic medicine?

When you develop the cold or the influenza then you are advised commonly by every well-wishers including doctors, to drink more lemon water, especially the warm or the hot, primarily to offset the deficiency of the water caused by the running nose and the deficiency of the vitamin C.

The vitamin C is a known improver of the immune system of the Maanava body. This is supposed to help your body get rid of the cold or the influenza.
