DO YOU WANT Bennett , Coleman And Company and other Indian Mass Media Outlets TO RULE INDIA BY PROXY?

DO YOU WANT Bennett , Coleman And Company and other Indian Mass Media Outlets TO RULE INDIA BY PROXY?
This is the question that exercises the erudite intelligent viewer's mind while watching animated, lively and absorbing political debates on various Indian TV channels, especially the Times Now TV Channel whose anchor Arnab Goswami often crosses the red-line and starts guiding the debates in the direction of his own pre-decided conclusions...!
In the instant case, we can take the example of Vasundhra Raje-Lalit Modi issue. Although no one can doubt the professionalism of Arnab Goswami yet It becomes fully evident to the viewers that Arnab Goswami doesn't wish to let the BJP spokespersons present their own side of the story or the issue. He seems to be interested only in getting responses that suits his own predilections...!
The mass media must take up national issues of importance. Irrespective of the contents, it must not try to extract opinions or force participants in the debates to give opinions which are in line with its own comfort level...!
India would soon be run by the mass media if the political parties were to allow their own selves to be bullied by the BIG TIME BIG MONEY BIG MOUTHED mass media outlets. Do listen to the mass media, but act according to your own wise political judgements. Else, you would meet the same fate that met Sonia' Congress Party.
The Congress party or the UPA in its last two years of rules had literally led its own self to be run by the dictates expressed in the mass media arms of the Bennett , Coleman And Company, namely The Times Of India newspaper and the Times Now TV channel. So much so that it forgot the sense of balance and political wisdom. This in turn made it take unwise foolish decisions such as degrading the Bharat Ratna by conferring it on a sportsperson...! That it lost the 2014 Lok Sabha elections is now a part of history...! Do you want to become a part of the forgotten history...?
Lastly, the freedom of speech implies not only the freedom to ask any uncomfortable questions but give full freedom to all the participants in the debates to express their own views without any implicit or explicit pressure from the anchors...!
